That's why I don't understand why people prefer her to Sakura. She was nice, yes, but just look what she did. Obito had just been buried alive and the gal just told Kakashi how she loved him🤦🏾🤦🏾.

I don't know. It seems like Obito was the problem there. Rin clearly had
romantic feelings for Kakashi and clearly treated Obito more like a younger brother. It seems like if Obito had enough maturity or intelligence, he would have realised that he needed to move on. But instead, he kept chasing a girl that didn't like him like that. Kept causing problems in his team because he was either jealous of Kakashi or trying to impress Rin. Then when Rin died, he used her death as an excuse to turn evil. Honestly, with how stupid Obito is, all that needed to happen to get us to this exact same point in the story was Rin confessing her feeling to Kakashi sooner and Kakashi reciprocating those feelings. Obito would've turned evil from that. It just always seemed like all that needed to happen was him losing Rin, didn't matter how, as long as she wasn't his.
